  • DHS Spreads Conspiracy Theory About Rose City Antifa

DHS Spreads Conspiracy Theory About Rose City Antifa

On September 26, 2025, the Department of Homeland Security published a statement titled “DHS is Fighting Back Against Antifa Violence” that includes a debunked conspiracy theory about our member crew Rose City Antifa.

Rose City Antifa has not doxed any ICE agents, a fact confirmed by going to the URL DHS conveniently censored from their photo.

Rose City Antifa did not put up this flyer, and issued a statement two months ago clarifying that, which we are republishing here:

We are aware that our tipline email address was recently included on flyers identifying ICE agents. We applaud any efforts to unmask ICE’s secret police, who we consider to be agents of state fascism, but we can’t take credit for these flyers; our focus as a group has generally been on local far-right political movements and organizing outside the state apparatus. Kristi Noem’s threats of federal prosecution for posting flyers is further evidence of this administration’s fascist nature. We support doxxing and any other actions that undermine ICE’s blatant human rights abuses. It is not within our capacity or purview to handle tips of this nature, though, and our inbox is not the best place to send them (but please do continue to send us tips on other local fascist activity).

    Rose City Antifa

The fact that the flyer does not include Rose City Antifa’s tip email ([email protected]) coupled with Rose City Antifa’s focus on non-State fascists should be evidence enough that they did not distribute this flyer, let alone dox any ICE agents.

  • Proud Boy B-Team Regroups in Clackamas for Lackluster Flag Wave

Proud Boy B-Team Regroups in Clackamas for Lackluster Flag Wave

Proud Boys and their fans gather in Clackamas

On February 16th, 2025, members of the violent far-right street gang the Proud Boys held a “flag wave” event with supporters. After originally planning on mobilizing in Portland, they instead relocated to the Sunnyside Road highway overpass in Clackamas, OR. They hung banners on the overpass featuring the Proud Boys logo and the slogans “ICE is nice”, “Die DEI Die”, and “Fuck Antifa”.

Counterprotesters made clear that Proud Boys and their allies are not welcome in our communities. Amidst increasingly fascist state action, direct opposition to far-right organizing is more important than ever. We invite folks to familiarize themselves with the following local figures and take action to ensure white supremacists and far-right agitators are always deterred from showing up on our blocks. Here is a quick guide to the flag wave attendees and their violent organizing backgrounds.

This event features some new faces and a refresher about some familiar ones.

    New Identifications

To those who choose to attend events with Proud Boys, it’s not too late to step away from far-right organizing before you become more than just a footnote in this article.

    We Keep Us Safe

Portlanders opposed to hateful ideologies have shown up and successfully driven far-right bigots out of our neighborhoods. The same can be done in our suburbs when we show up to defend our communities in strong numbers. Together we can push fascist organizing back to the fringe and prevent the harm they do when allowed to grow. We hope this information helps you and your networks continue to combat these toxic ideologies throughout the Pacific Northwest and beyond. We hope you feel emboldened to take action in whatever ways you can!

Much appreciation to everyone who has reported on far-right events; without various community photos, first hand accounts, and other information, this article would not have been possible.

As always, please send relevant tips on fascist activity in your community to: [email protected]

  • Patriot Front’s Dustin Hamby Rages Impotently Against BLM, Antifascists

Dustin Ray Hamby, better known online as Chef Goyardee, has displayed increasingly erratic behavior in response to the continuing Antifascist campaign to expose him and stop his fascist organizing.

On May 30th Hamby spied upon a Black Lives Matter protest at the Austin Capitol and gleefully live-streamed as a protester was manhandled by cops.

But when Hamby got home, he found a message – apparently left by antifascists – on his door. He made several outraged tweets indicating a desire to “protect his home”, likely realizing the impossibility of defending against an enemy he does not know and cannot see.

He even put out a challenge to “fight Antifa” on his birthday – which he spent home alone – but antifascists do not let their enemies dictate, or even anticipate,  the time and place of battle.

With his characteristic impulsiveness and rage, Hamby filmed himself tearing down a George Floyd banner posted outside his Midtown Commons residence.

Unfortunately for Chef Goyardee even these futile and impotent displays only result in more attention. Sources report that flyers were found around the Midtown Commons area shortly thereafter.

Additionally a large banner denouncing Dustin Ray Hamby and warning his neighbors was found posted to the nearby dog park he frequents.

While only local antifascists know for sure, it seems likely that Hamby will continue making himself a target until he publicly denounces Patriot Front and the broader fascist movement, forever leaving behind bigoted political activism and internet commentary – at the very least.

  • PATRIOT PRAYER AND THE BIAS OF THE PORTLAND COURT SYSTEM – THE CASE OF TRISTEN BARHITE

    - IMAGE - Tristen Barhite

Over the last four years, the people of Portland have witnessed a surge in far-right activity, motivated by the Trump presidency. Beginning with pro-Trump rallies in 2016 attended by members of far-right militias and white supremacist groups, this activity expanded into 2017, 2018, and 2019 as Joey Gibson attempted to make a media and political career through ringleading large gatherings of these violent agitators, buoying up groups like Identity Europa, the Proud Boys, and the Portland-area Daily Stormer group.

Gibson and company’s forays into Portland would not have been able to occur without the help of the Portland Police Bureau (PPB), the city of Portland, and the local court system. PPB’s collaboration with Joey Gibson and Patriot Prayer is well-documented. The City government has refused to respond to the revelation that Quincy Franklin and Gregory Isaacson, two bigoted followers of Patriot Prayer, are employed by the city. And the courts with jurisdiction over Portland have now fallen prey to influence by Patriot Prayer. In this article we will lay out the malign influence exerted by Joey Gibson’s associates at every stage of a court case. From the filing of charges, to the disruption of the trial, to an eventual mistrial due to the actions of a Patriot Prayer associate who was a member of the ostensibly “impartial” jury, this case now joins the spiraling list of occasions in which the far-right has hijacked the mechanisms of city government in order to harass its denizens, and the activists working to protect their community from fascist violence.

  • Midtown Commons Residents Warned of Nazi Neighbor: Dustin Ray Hamby

Recently flyers describing the activities of Austin Nazi leader, Dustin Ray Hamby (aka Chef Goyardee) covered the interior of the Midtown Commons apartments located at 7211 Easy Wind Dr. as well as the windows of nearby businesses.

Residents saw several dozen flyers on each floor of Hamby’s apartment building and learned of his role as a Network Directing Officer of Patriot Front. Hamby coordinated van rentals and AirBNB reservations for the Unite The Right rally in Charlottesville, thus bearing significant responsibility for the death of antifascist martyr Heather Heyer and the serious injuries to dozens of others. It is important to note that Patriot Front is simply the rebranding of Vanguard America following this deadly attack by Vanguard member, James A. Fields.

Dustin Ray Hamby has been exposed and targeted by Central Texas antifascists before. He recently lost his job at Kome Sushi after management was made aware of his character and history. Hamby became vindictive, yelled at the manager, and later instructed his followers to leave slanderous reviews about the restaurant. The spurious reviews were subsequently deleted and all Hamby achieved was making future restaurant employment more difficult for him.

A flyer was seen on the window of Hamby’s former employer, Black Star Co-Op

Nobody wants a racist, violent, drunk  coworker and any business that employs the Nazi Dustin Ray Hamby or his associates is sure to face a community boycott — at an absolute minimum.

Hamby has also been named as a defendant in a lawsuit concerning Unite The Right, albeit under his alias “Chef Goyardee” before his true identity was revealed to the world. CenTex ARA entirely rejects participation in or cooperation with the “law” and holds no illusions the capitalist State will strike meaningful blows against a Fascist movement that reinforces their rule. Hamby’s own neighbors are far more likely to inflict reprisals against him than are the courts, especially now that other Midtown Commons residents know his identity. Reports of escalating actions against him would come as no surprise.

All fascists and neo-nazis would do well to learn that there is nowhere to run and nowhere to hide in Texas. If they are afraid of publicly organizing events antifascists will come to them instead. They are far safer quitting their fascist activities, publicly naming and denouncing their leaders, and working to destroy their former organizations. Short of that there is no hope for them whatsoever.

  • Dahlonega, Georgia: Flyers Warn Residents about Neo-Nazi Organizer

On Tuesday, September 3rd, Atlanta Antifascists mailed 250 flyers to Dahlonega, north Georgia residents, warning them about “fourth-generation Klansman” and active neo-Nazi Chester James Doles, Jr.

Doles is the main organizer for the upcoming “Patriots”/“Trump” rally in Dahlonega on September 14. This rally is a thinly veiled white supremacist event which has been advertised in neo-Nazi circles. The Dahlonega rally currently features Jovanni Valle – a former “Alt-lite” personality who now embraces Hitler – as a guest speaker.

North Georgia residents and Southern anti-racists are organizing against the September 14 far-Right rally. We hope that by warning Doles’ neighbors about his history as a violent Klansman and his continued neo-Nazi activity, we impair Doles’ ability to organize.

  • Statement on the Far-Right’s Attempt to Criminalize Protest of Concentration Camp Deaths and Hate Groups

    Background

On July 18, 2019, two U.S. Senators introduced a resolution attempting to designate “antifa” as a domestic terrorist organization. In a week that saw a Trump rally featuring a racist chant for the deportation of a progressive, black Muslim congresswoman, there can be no clearer sign as to where we are at, than this effort to declare anti-fascism itself illegal. The Republican party is explicitly targeting political opposition. There is no definition of “antifa” outlined in the resolution. “Antifa” is used as a warning. It is shorthand for the dissenters who won’t be brought to heel. If passed, this resolution would be a powerful new weapon for silencing leftists and dissent in the U.S.

In this resolution, the Senators specifically mentioned anti-fascists in Portland, targeting our community for defending itself from the fascists, neo-Nazis, and white supremacists who have assaulted our city for the past three years. Portland has been a target for the most violent elements of the right because of its progressive character. The strategy of the far-right has been to attack the left wherever we have the audacity to exist: in higher education, in Berkeley, at Pride events, at union meetings, at Planned Parenthood, and in a symbolic city of progressive values such as Portland. It is not enough for them to have their own conservative communities, the presidency, the Supreme Court, the Senate, the massive right-wing media apparatus and funding base; they also must harass, violently attack, and terrorize anyone anywhere who dares to disagree with their oppressive views.

The rationale for this resolution is a manufactured threat which only exists in the absence of critical thought and inquiry. The greatest domestic political threat in the U.S. today is the far-right. The far-right committed 98% of ideologically-driven murders in 2018. We have seen that death toll here in Portland. Larnell Bruce, a black teenager, was brutally murdered by a white supremacist outside a 7-11 in 2016. In 2017, Jeremy Christian, a Patriot Prayer rally attendee and white supremacist, fatally stabbed two passengers and seriously injured a third passenger on a Portland MAX train after they attempted to stop him from harassing two women of color. Proud Boys have driven around our city streets looking for people to assault. LGBT+ community members have been repeatedly attacked, and they have been called liars when they organize to defend themselves. The Portland Police Bureau has assisted the right at every turn. Stories like this are echoed all over the country. This is the true threat of our times.

Anti-fascists have protected numerous community events, spaces, and demonstrations from fascist violence. Anti-fascist have suppressed and stopped fascist activity and recruiting; disseminated valuable information to communities about threats to their safety; produced research and writing which would not otherwise occur; provided care and support to members of our community impacted by fascist threats and violence; hosted educational events on a variety of issues; conducted benefits for vital services like reproductive rights; and much more. Anti-fascist action works. The Proud Boys, after invading our city multiple times and causing grievous injuries to community members, failed to show up to their June 29, 2019 rally (named the “Battle of Portland Part 2”) after a diverse coalition of activists gathered to oppose them. Anti-fascist organizing in Portland is part of a larger anti-racist and anti-oppression movement that has been working for decades to disrupt white supremacist rallies from Berkeley to Charlottesville.

The vast majority of what anti-fascists do does not involve black outfits at protests. Anti-fascists are easy to dehumanize with superficial commentary on the clothing and masks that some use to protect themselves. But anti-fascists are your neighbors. Some anti-fascists are people fighting for our lives and dignity, because we are people of color, queer, trans, of a targeted ethnicity or religion. Some anti-fascists are people who are cashing in on our privileges to protect those who are more vulnerable. Anti-fascists are regular people: moms, teachers, carpenters, servers, healthcare workers, and veterans. Fighting against the oppression, bigotry, and violence that we call fascism requires ordinary people to do extraordinary things. Stopping fascist activity is a goal common to all people of conscience. These Senators would call us all domestic terrorists.

Not every person of conscience agrees on tactics, but they would all be considered terrorists according to this proposed resolution, because they declare themselves opposed to white supremacists and concentration camps. This resolution would open the door violations of their civil rights. If “antifa” are terrorists, so are the thousands of Portlanders who stood against Patriot Prayer on June 4, 2017 and August 4, 2018, and the hundreds who peacefully blockaded the ICE offices in SW Portland. It would call the activists and spiritual leaders who stood against white supremacists in Charlottesville on August 11 and 12, 2017 domestic terrorists. It is no surprise that these Senators are proposing this measure now, as rallies against ICE are drawing attention to the deaths occurring in U.S. refugee concentration camps. People across this continent see the atrocity that these camps represent, and are demanding that the government stop causing suffering and death through its racist immigration policies. These Senators would make that dissent illegal. And so we, as anti-fascists, condemn their resolution absolutely.

    Statement of Anti-Fascists and Allies

We, the undersigned, wholly condemn any attempt to criminalize community efforts to stop white supremacist assaults and close concentration camps.

We condemn any attempt to persecute community groups who research racist threats in their community, and educate the people so that they might stop it.

We condemn any attempt by the far-right to strike a blow against their political opponents by demonizing the actions of human beings of conscience.

We condemn any attempt to protect the far-right gangs who make violent incursions into liberal communities.

We condemn any attempt to shield fascism, by attacking those who are in opposition to it.

In history, we have seen what happens when the state criminalizes dissent, when right-wing gangs are allowed to terrorize and kill with impunity, and when the police arrest those whose morality will not allow them to stand by, while immigrants and refugees are imprisoned in camps to die. As a community, we refuse to allow it to happen here. We have stood up to the forces of the far-right before, and now we must do so again.

  • #IdentifyEvropa – 2 Weeks In

On March 6th, decentralized media collective Unicorn Riot published a trove of internal Discord chat logs of the white nationalist group Identity Evropa.

Antifascist researchers across the country, including members of the Torch Network, have been diligently analyzing this new data to identify and expose the leadership and members of the group. While much of the exposure is occurring on Twitter, the bulk of these investigations are being compiled and published on a new website: IdentifyEvropa.org.

In the ensuing fallout, many of key figures in Identity Evropa (IE) have been doxxed, including: Patrick Casey, Executive Director; Justin Peek, Director of Activism; and Daniel Morley, national Pledge Coordinator, who until recently, was a school resource officer in Virginia. Occupations of IE members range wide, from their typical upper class college student, to lawyers, health professionals, electricians, police, and members of the military.

In the face of our valiant efforts, Patrick Casey and his followers are attempting to leave behind the stigmatized carcass of IE, and step into definitely “not a rebrand”, the American Identity Movement. Taking a cue from IdaVox, the Torch Network and other antifascists are abbreviating this travesty of an organization as “AmIM” to differentiate between the American Indian Movement, “a 51 year old organization dedicated to fighting for the rights of American Indians and dedicated to fighting hate groups”.

Despite their emphasis on “good optics”, IE/AmIM know that their beliefs and worldviews are still anathema to a majority of Americans, and thus need to resort to intensive public relations trainings and language policing on each other.

The Torch Antifascist Network and our accomplices in the #IdentifyEvropa campaign remain steadfast and committed to exposing each member’s racist affiliations and behavior to the public. We have only just begun.

Rob Stamm, formerly known as Robert Allen Goward, is a police officer with the Virginia Capitol Police. Capitol Police is the police force responsible for the Virginia capitol grounds in downtown Richmond, Virginia — in the area of the Governor’s Mansion and General Assembly. Rob Stamm has been among the cops policing the numerous, near-daily protests demanding that Governor Ralph Northam resign. He was present at the capitol at least during protests on February 4th and 5th.

As detailed in this document, Officer Rob Stamm has explicit, overt ties to a white nationalist pagan organization, and an affinity for imagery, tattoos and Facebook pages associated with nazis and white supremacists.
