Proud Boy B-Team Regroups in Clackamas for Lackluster Flag Wave

On February 16th, 2025, members of the violent far-right street gang the Proud Boys held a “flag wave” event with supporters. After originally planning on mobilizing in Portland, they instead relocated to the Sunnyside Road highway overpass in Clackamas, OR. They hung banners on the overpass featuring the Proud Boys logo and the slogans “ICE is nice”, “Die DEI Die”, and “Fuck Antifa”.

The Poisonous Dregs of the Alt-Right Dump Themselves In Portland

On August 22, a group of far-right agitators held a “No To Marxism In America” rally in downtown PDX (coordinated with two other somewhat-more-innocuously-titled “Mother of All Back The Blue Rallies” intended to disguise the actual reactionary, and fascist rhetoric behind the events). This particular group of organizers is mostly a pathetic collection of rejects and cast-offs from various local far-right groups that have been staging violent incursions into Portland for years. Despite their overall lack of right-wing social capital, at last weekend’s downtown, this group proved themselves capable of often unprovoked, disproportionate, and potentially deadly violence, and they continue to pose a real threat to our community.

Whether it’s folks who learned about this event ahead of time and are already familiar with the assortment scumbags in attendance, or just passers-by who happen upon the rally and are disgusted by the racist and overtly reactionary rhetoric on display, people in Portland don’t let fascist organizing happen unchallenged and uncritiqued. By belief and by action, those attending this rally have chosen to position themselves in racist opposition to the movement for Black lives, and for that they should feel unwelcome wherever they are. They have also proven their enthusiasm to engage in reckless violence. But there is safety in numbers, so watch out and take care of those around you. Get together with friends and pack snacks, make signs, get familiar with who these people are. And don’t forget your mask!

Despite the fact that these organizers are largely ridiculed and despised even within their own movement, recent events have shown that they are hungry for violence and plan to take full advantage of the ongoing legacy of impunity offered by the state to far-right, fascist, and neo-Nazi agitators who have spent the past three years invading Portland intent on harassing and assaulting people.

PATRIOT PRAYER AND THE BIAS OF THE PORTLAND COURT SYSTEM – THE CASE OF TRISTEN BARHITE

- IMAGE - Tristen Barhite

Over the last four years, the people of Portland have witnessed a surge in far-right activity, motivated by the Trump presidency. Beginning with pro-Trump rallies in 2016 attended by members of far-right militias and white supremacist groups, this activity expanded into 2017, 2018, and 2019 as Joey Gibson attempted to make a media and political career through ringleading large gatherings of these violent agitators, buoying up groups like Identity Europa, the Proud Boys, and the Portland-area Daily Stormer group.

Gibson and company’s forays into Portland would not have been able to occur without the help of the Portland Police Bureau (PPB), the city of Portland, and the local court system. PPB’s collaboration with Joey Gibson and Patriot Prayer is well-documented. The City government has refused to respond to the revelation that Quincy Franklin and Gregory Isaacson, two bigoted followers of Patriot Prayer, are employed by the city. And the courts with jurisdiction over Portland have now fallen prey to influence by Patriot Prayer. In this article we will lay out the malign influence exerted by Joey Gibson’s associates at every stage of a court case. From the filing of charges, to the disruption of the trial, to an eventual mistrial due to the actions of a Patriot Prayer associate who was a member of the ostensibly “impartial” jury, this case now joins the spiraling list of occasions in which the far-right has hijacked the mechanisms of city government in order to harass its denizens, and the activists working to protect their community from fascist violence.

PDX Stormers – Franchised Neo-Nazi Organizing In the PNW

Daily Stormer Book Clubs

The Daily Stormer Book Clubs (DSBC) are a network of neo-Nazi cells spread throughout the United States, Canada and Europe. Begun on Andrew Anglin’s The Daily Stormer web forum, these groups have allowed white supremacists and fascists in different metropolitan regions to meet and coordinate racist intimidation and violence since 2016.

The Portland, Oregon DSBC chapter (referred to in this article as the “PDX Stormers”) was until recently one of the largest and most active. Not only do they have a fluctuating membership in the neighborhood of 10 to 20 neo-Nazi participants, they have, more than other groups around the country, moved from the realm of the internet to real-world activities. Over the past couple years the PDX Stormers have carried out racist and anti-Semitic propaganda actions in the Portland metro area, in some instances targeting and then exposing even elementary school children to Nazi imagery. They have participated in a large number of Joey Gibson’s far-right rallies, and assaulted counter-protesters.

In October of 2017, Pacific Northwest Anti-fascist Workers Collective publicized information about PDX Stormer Jarl Rockhill. In February of 2018, Rose City Antifa publicized the identity of Vancouver, WA neo-Nazi Alexander Wolfgang Becker, also a member of the PDX Stormers. In the coming weeks, Rose City Antifa will expose the identities of three more PDX Stormers neo-Nazis: Matthew Blais, Bogdan Gerasimyuk, and Michael Dorsey. These three, along with Rockhill and Becker, represent the core of the most active and often seen neo-Nazis in the group. Weed Nazi Bethany Sherman Employs White Supremacist Lawyer William Daniel Johnson to Abuse Court System

In 2017, Eugene Antifa revealed that Bethany Sherman, owner of cannabis testing lab OG Analytical in Eugene, OR, was a Nazi with a large online presence of fascist and racist Twitter posts. Sherman was forced to close her business as a result. Now, Sherman, with the help of white supremacist attorney William Daniel Johnson, is attempting to abuse the court system in order to subpoena Eugene Antifa’s former web host to reveal personal information about members of Eugene Antifa and visitors to their website. There is no legal basis for these subpoenas, according to the Civil Liberties Defense Center (CLDC), and the entire case is nothing more than an attempt to target anti-fascist activists and intimidate them in order to prevent the truth about these Nazis in our community from being known.

After years of Nazi activity including a history of involvement with NSM, Kenneth Stephen Hart aka Hand-Bananaspent the past several years living between Vancouver, WA and Lake Oswego, OR while producing and being interviewed on countless Alt-Right and neo-Nazi podcasts.
